Miss May I is releasing Deathless on August 7 and the single we've heard so far wasn't too bad, but it felt like a Chimaira song. Sometimes that happens though! People hear what they want, comparisons are drawn and life goes on… so I guess it's a good thing this sounds a little less like "Pure Hatred" by Chimaira? That feels like a step up.
Honestly, the heavy bits aren't bad in this track. I can get down to that, but the corrected clean vocal, semi-anthematic chorus things just feel a little contrived to me.
