As previously reported, Marilyn Manson recorded a cover of "Cry Little Sister" by Gerard McMahon, known for beng the theme for the 1987 cult film The Lost Boys. The cover was to appear on the soundtrack for the next X-Men movie The New Mutants, but the movie got delayed until next year.
So Manson said eff that, and released the video to promote his upcoming tour with Rob Zombie. The performance video was directed by Bill Yukich.
