Marilyn Manson began teasing last week that fans should prepare for the "never-ending astral vampire." Now it seems as though the vampire has arrived.
Marilyn Manson has announced his new album We are Chaos for September 11, and is streaming the title track alongside a brand new music video right now. The song is a pretty major departure from Marilyn Manson's usual industrial fare, though the new acoustic-focused sound makes sense given We are Chaos was written in collaboration with singer-songwriter Shooter Jennings. It's also a really good song. Anyone else getting some serious My Chemical Romance vibes from this one?
We are Chaos is the first Marilyn Manson record to feature bassist Juan Alderete (Racer X, The Mars Volta) and drummer Brandon Pertzborn (Ho99o9). Pre-orders are available here.
