Ludovico Technique has offered up exactly zero shortage of new music throughout 2021, releasing a new single nearly every month which will eventually comprise their third album, Haunted People. Preceded by “Poisoned,” “Burn Everything” and “I Was," "Haunted" is another layer of dimension in the goth/industrial sonic experimentation that Ludovico Technique has been cultivating all year.
While the preceding tracks have all touched on a different, musically dark, element, "Haunted" is about as goth as you can get. The track features a gritty beat, soaring choral elements and Ben V.'s signature deep vocals. The lyrics themselves are, naturally, somber and mournful – and fitting for the season.
Trick or treat? Definitely treat. For fans of the goth alternative scene, this track is THE track for Halloween.
