Michigan deathcore force Let It Rot have been at it for a few years now. Their new video for the track 'Lake Of Fire' is perhaps the best thing they've done yet. A song that delves into the pain of watching a loved one suffer from addiction, this is a wonderfully produced and crushingly heavy offering. Playing into many standard deathcore tropes, Let It Rot prove they have what it takes to hang with the best. It also makes us very curious to hear what unfolds on their next full length due out this fall! It's our honor to premier the video. So get ready to feel the mayhem!
The band had this to say:
Lake of Fire talks about my personal experience and pain of helplessly watching a loved one gradually disintegrate from a lifetime of alcoholism. The video itself was filmed by Hive Minds Media on a dead of winter January night in a partially abandoned industrial building in our hometown of Lansing Michigan. It was a very cold, dusty, exhausting, but ultimately fun experience. We're all really pleased with how this video turned out.
