Korn frontman Jonathan Davis recently confirmed he would release a solo album and do a solo tour in 2018, and now all that information is slowly being rolled out. Davis has announced he's signed to Sumerian Records as a solo artist and has premiered the first track from his currently-unannounced album. "What It Is" is actually really, really catchy and Davis' voice in this setting weirdly works. Plus the instrumentation is clever with the switches between pianos and synths in the choruses and verses.
