Killswitch Engage recently teamed up with the Living The Dream Foundation to give a fan named Alex their dream day. Alex is currently a PhD student at UC Davis studying Forensic Entomology, and is battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer
"Alex was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in 2017. Over the years he has endured many rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries on multiple organs where the cancer spread," said the Living The Dream Foundation. "After recently receiving the news his scans showed signs it had spread again to his lungs, Killswitch Engage helped us make his dream come true by giving him a Virtual #DREAMDAY.
"Alex is a true inspiration showing us all what it means to be strong in the face of adversity. Despite everything he has been through over the years, he has not let that take away his sense of humor or interfere in the pursuit of his goals and dreams. He is currently a PhD student at UC Davis studying Forensic Entomology."
