Ex-Metallica bassist Jason Newsted has been popping up here and there with his acoustic band Jason Newsted & The Chophouse Band. You can check out Newsted and crew performing an original track called "Blackbird" at the Norton Sculpture Garden in West Palm Beach, Florida above.
Newsted's band is named after his Chophouse Records Studio that he formed in 1991. The Chophouse Band has been around in various incarnations and with various lineups ever since 1992.
