In memory of his late friend, Eddie Van Halen, guitarist Jason Becker released footage of some home movies of the time Eddie came to visit him in 1996. Jason, who was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease, was in rough shape at the time, and Eddie came to visit and cheer him up a bit, film an ALS promotional video, and naturally, gift Jason a guitar.
The footage shows just how thoughtful and caring Eddie is. "Eddie was such a beautiful person," says Becker. "He was incredibly kind to me and my family. Not only was he my biggest influence, he had such a huge heart. He honestly saved my life."
