No doubt you've seen at least a .gif of Lane Pittman, the Floridian guy who went out with the American flag and headbanged during a Category 5 hurricane. Vice has since caught up with Pittman and produced a mini-documentary on the man behind the legendary video (or .gif), and got not only his story, but why the hell he did what he did.
