Michael Bishop, better known now as Bezerker Blöthar and former Beefcake The Mighty, fronts and used to play bass for Gwar. Bishop also has a Ph. D in popular music ethnography and performance studies from the University of Virginia, making him an excellent candidate to give a TED Talk! Seriously, give this a watch if you have the time or even just listen to the audio. You might learn something!
