GOST's New Song "Burning Thyme" Is Mostly Acoustic

Acoustic guitar and cello in a Gost song? Sure.

Gost is now streaming his new song "Burning Thyme", which is takes a hard left away from his usual gothy synthwave and into the realms of acoustic music.

“I experimented a lot with instrumentation for Rites of Love and Reverence," said Gost. "Writing a song featuring an acoustic guitar and cello was honestly the furthest thing from my mind with this record. 'Burning Thyme' refers to the past and was a term used to announce the burning of witches. Invoke the spirit that's been hiding deep within."

Gost will release Rites of Love and Reverence on August 13. Pre-orders are available here.
