It took 10 years, but Oxbow will be releasing its new album Thin Black Duke on May 5 via Hydra Head Industries, the label's first release since 2013. So what was the holdup for Oxbow? Basically, they were waiting for Joe Chiccarelli to be free so he could work on and mix the album, and they finally got a hold of him.
Fortunately, "Cold And Well-Lit Place" sure as hell makes it sound like it was all worth the wait! It's a little strange, but when hasn't Oxbow been weird? What I'm getting at is that you need to pre-order Thin Black Duke here.
