Brian Johnson, frontman for AC/DC, joined Foo Fighters during Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World for a special performance of "Back in Black". Vax Live was filmed on May 2nd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and aired on Saturday night, May 8, on multiple TV networks.
The concert featured a number of celebrity guests including host Selena Gomez as well as performances by Jennifer Lopez, J Balvin, Eddie Vedder and H.E.R. The hour-long special and vaccination campaign from Global Citizen was put on to advocate for equitable Covid-19 vaccine distribution and was attended by 27,000 fully vaccinated health care and essential workers.
