It would seem, as of late, that when it comes to rock and metal it is either indie/pop or extreme metal, with good, old hard rock getting lost somewhere in the middle. That is not the case with the first single from Dirty Black Summer, "Your Great Deception." Dirty Black summer offers a nostalgic tribute to a bygone era. They distill 90's rock tinged with grunge, and all of the dark and dirty elements that made the 90's what they were, while still being modern and fresh.
