Dimmu Borgir will release their long-awaited album Eonian on May 4. The album will be their first in eight years, and now Nuclear Blast has sat down with singer and keyboardist Shagrath and guitarist Silenoz to discuss the writing process behind the record. It's a pretty interesting interview considering the writing process took such a long time.
Silenoz says one of the main differences in this writing process was that the band wrote as a trio with Shagrath on drums, and tried to find a lot of middle ground between all their loves of different types of metal.
