Danny Elfman is back with a fourth and equally disturbing new single called "Kick Me". The song is much more straightforward rock than his previous three singles, and comes with a pretty jarring music video as always.
"I was feeling particularly mellow one day last summer," said Elfman. "I decided to write this very chill song for everyone who wants to put something on that will really help them zone out and relax."
"Kick Me" features drummer Josh Freese (ex-A Perfect Circle, ex-Nine Inch Nails), guitarists Warren Fitzgerald (The Vandals), bassist Stu Brooks (Dub Trio, ex-Candiria), percussion by Sidney Hopson of the LA Philharmonic and Joe Martone of the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, and strings by the Lyris Quartet.
