Coheed & Cambria is now streaming their acoustic version of Kiss' 1977 track "Love Gun." Coheed & Cambria performed the cover for their early entry audience every night on their recent Great Destroyer Tour, and decided to share it with the rest of the world. Alongside the "Love Gun" cover comes the launch of Coheed & Cambria's Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind video game which is available to play here. According to the band, fans can play as the album’s protagonists, Creature or Sister Spider, as they embark on a mission to save their son Vaxis.
Coheed & Cambria's new album Vaxis II: A Window Of The Waking Wind is due out on May 27. Vaxis II was produced by Coheed & Cambria guitarist and vocalist Claudio Sanchez alongside Zakk Cervini (Limp Bizkit, Blink-182). Pre-orders for Vaxis II: A Window Of The Waking Wind are available here that include a deluxe version featuring a 96-page illustrated hardcover novel developed by Sanchez, written by his wife Chondra Echert, and featuring artwork by Chase Stone.
