“The song is about looking inside yourself to find a way to bring about the change you wish to see in your life. There is so much negativity in our everyday lives that it’s easy to lose sight of what’s important in life. We all struggle with our own issues and sometimes it’s difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s always there, and I want people to focus on that light instead of the darkness surrounding it. Growing up my grandma always told me 'be a leader not a follower,' and I wanted to share that mindset to inspire others to rise up and bring about the change they wish to see in their own lives.”
