Beastwars' new record IV is a very personal one that chronicles vocalist Matt Hyde's recovery from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. The record is Beastwars' first in three years, and what a return it's going to be. Look no further than our premiere of the slow-burning, riff-churning new song "Raise The Sword" that practically demands to be blasted.
Here's what Hyde had to say about the track.
"The video was shot on our first tour back after a two year break. It was so good to reconnect with the fans again and remember how much we loved playing music together. ‘Raise The Sword’ was written as advice to myself and the living. Breathe and enjoy the moment. Take in the journey, because the destination in the end is something we all have in common."
