Maryland Deathfest should have went down this weekend, as it does every year during Memorial Day weekend for the last 15 years, but because of our current predicament it is not happening. But, to help ease the pain, the creators of the excellent Welcome to DEATHFEST documentary are streaming the doc for free all weekend in tribute to the fest.
Here's how the doc is described: "Every year, metalheads and mutants descend on Baltimore's Inner Harbor like a brood of cicadas. Welcome To Deathfest is a feature documentary about Maryland Deathfest, the biggest independent extreme music festival in North America. Filmed during the 2013 festival, the film features performances and commentary from the founders, the bands and the fans."
