Architects is now streaming their new single "tear gas," which is perfect for all those wondering what earlier Nine Inch Nails would've sounded like if they were influenced by early Linkin Park. Needless to say, it's pretty solid.
Alongside the new single comes the announcement of the new Architects record the classic symptoms of a broken spirit (stylized in all lower case letters) due out October 21. The record is the the first Architects album written in same room since pre-pandemic times, with 2021's For Those That Wish To Exist being written entirely remote.
“This one feels more live, more exciting and more fun – it has that energy. We wanted it to be a lot more industrial and electronic,” said vocalist Sam Carter. the classic symptoms of a broken spirit was produced by Architects own Dan Searle and Josh Middleton, with additional production from Carter.
