AC/DC have posted the music video for their new single, "Shot In The Dark," their new single from the upcoming album, Power Up, out November 13th. The boys look as good as ever. It just looks great to have Brian Johnson back in the fold.
AC/DC have launched a fun new logo generator, where you can have your initials appear in the classic AC/DC logo. You can load the generator here.
Angus Young recently spoke to Rolling Stone, saying that Malcolm is credited as a co-writer for every single song on PWR UP.
"There was a lot of great song ideas at that time," Angus said. "At that time he said to me, ‘We'll leave these songs for now. If we keep going, we'll be overboard. We'll get them on the next one'."
"That always stuck with me. When I went through and listened to them, I said, ‘If I do anything in my life, I have to get these tracks down and get these tracks out'."
Angus Young has commented on the absence of Malcolm's tracks to RockFM "I know a lot of people have been saying, did Malcolm actually play, is it his instrument on the new album?" said Young. "I chose not to do that because I felt Malcolm himself wouldn't like me trying to splice his guitar work.
"Malcolm and myself, a lot of what we had done through the years, we'd make notes with the tracks. Some might be a little bit rough here and there, and I polished them up. In other cases, Malcolm might have done just a small bit and then I would do the next verse. The bulk of the contribution of Mal is mainly musical."
The new AC/DC album features vocalist Brian Johnson drummer Phil Rudd, bassist Cliff Williams, and guitarists Angus Young and Stevie Young. Of course, Stevie Young has been filling in for his uncle Malcolm Young since 2014.
Power Up is out on November 13. Pre-orders are available here.
