Solution .45 released their two records Nightmares in the Waking State, Pt. 1 and Nightmares in the Waking State, Pt. 2 in 2015 and 2016. The two records were a welcome return from Solution .45, who at that point hadn't released anything since their 2010 debut album. Unfortunately, the band went on hiatus in 2017 "due to various reasons."
While their plans are currently unclear, we do have some good news – the hiatus isn't permanent! Solution .45 has made a pretty cryptic announcement on their Facebook that they'll be returning in 2020. Though who knows if they've got music ready to go by then, or that's just the start date.
As of the hiatus, Solution .45 was vocalist Christian Älvestam (Miseration, Svavelvinter, ex-Scar Symmetry), guitarist Ronnie Björnström (Defiatory, Taedeat, ex-Aeon), guitarist and bassist Jani Stefanović (Miseration, The Weakening), and drummer Rolf Pilve (Stratovarius).
