Ne Obliviscaris hit the studio this past weekend to record the highly-anticipated followup to 2014's Citadel. Considering Citadel was one of my favorite albums of 2014, and by far one of the best metal albums of this millennium, it'll be really interesting to see where the band goes from here.
This will also be the band's third album, and the first official release without bassist Brendan "Cygnus" Brown, who exited Ne Obliviscaris earlier this year. So not only do we not know how Ne Obliviscaris is going to top Citadel, but who the hell is going to fill the frankly gigantic shoes that Brown left?
