I've already told you that Mouth of the Architect's newest album Dawning is pretty cool, but here's another single to tide you over!
The album comes out this Tuesday, but that's too long to wait for something that's actually pretty good. The cool thing about this song is that it slowly builds up this weird horror-movie tension under vocal harmonies, and then boom! Explodes… and then gets quiet again. FOR ANOTHER EXPLOSION!
That might sound like typical post-rock, but there's a certain horrifying tension about this song that I can't really place. It just scares me in the best way possible. It's also worth noting that it sounds natural, and almost out-of-tune, which only adds to the great atmosphere. Plus the ending is creepy… everything about this is creepy. Listen to it.
