In 2015, we said Limp Bizkit's Stampede Of The Disco Elephants was probably going to be out within the calendar year. In early 2016, we said the band was in the studio seriously putting the final touches on the new album. Now it's June 2016 and Limp Bizkit is still in the studio making new music. Stampede Of The Disco Elephants, if that's still the name of the album, will be the band's first since Gold Cobra in 2011, but fear not! Fred Durst has premiered a small clip of new music and it's… bad.
I understand that the clip is about 7 seconds long and you can't judge the whole of the material from that short timeframe, but why this clip? About 25% of it just just "fuckin'" and "hell," and doesn't give us really anything to latch onto musically. I'm the first one to defend the band's earlier stuff, but this clip is just kind of silly.
