Really? I feel like I've been reading about Babymetal for years and years and they don't have an album out? Interesting, but I guess that's about to change on Feb. 26 when the group drop their debut via Japan's Toy Factory.
The album will include all five of the singles the band has put out between 2011 and 2013 (see? I knew I'd been reading about them for years) along with all the b-sides that came along with those singles and three unheard songs.
I'm at least a little interested to hear the remainder of songs I haven't heard yet because it's just such an odd, quirky combination of traditional J-Pop and straight up death metal that I can't even help myself. Plus the fact the band hyped Metallica and jammed with Chthnoic and seemed like they actually meant it makes them alright in my book. Bring on the children-influenced heavies, I say!
