Deafheaven just released their new record Ordinary Corrupt Human Love in July 2018 and are hitting the road with Baroness on March 8. Yet between those two things, it looks like they're trying to squeeze in some studio time for a new release of some sort. Much like the teasers that led up to the announcement of Ordinary Corrupt Human Love, Deafheaven are being extremely cryptic about what they're up to and have only provided the caption "2019" to their photo.
It also makes sense that Deafheaven wrote way more than they needed for their previous record and are not hitting the studio once more to record the songs that never made the cut the first time. Or it's completely new stuff. Either way, it looks like fans won't have to wait until 2020 for some new tunes.
