Last we heard from Carcass in April of this year, they had about 50 minutes of new music written. The band has been touring on their 2013 record Surgical Steel for quite some time now.
If the below picture is actually Carcass preparing to record drums, then you should consider that album cycle pretty much over.
It's also worth noting that guitarist Ben Ash has been replaced by Tom Draper. Ash did not play on Surgical Steel, so it'll be interesting to see if Draper is included in the session at all or it's all just Bill Steer again.
Carcass is slated to play Hellfest 2019, so maybe we'll get to hear some new music then?
