The hype for Sepultura's next album has died down a bit in the last few weeks, I'm assuming since the band is done recording, but lest ye forget, they got Dave friggen Lombardo to sit in on a track which is super cool in my book. Now it seems like the hype is ready to come back to full form as the band have released new details for this next album.
It's going to be called The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart which may be the least-SEO album title ever, but hey…art. Speaking of art, the artwork is done by Alexandre Wagner and looks pretty neat, check it out:
The album is scheduled for an October 22nd release . As we previously noted, it was produced by Ross Robinson (Slipknot, Korn) and mixed by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die). The band will include a cover of Death's "Zombie Ritual" on the deluxe edition. Here is the pointless tracklisting:
