It sure as hell doesn't feel like it, but it's been three years now since David Brockie's tragic passing and four years since Battle Maximus. Gwar, who is now fronted by a character name by Blothar (played by original bassist and vocalist Michael Bishop), will release its first album since Brockie's passing this fall title The Blood Of Gods via Metal Blade.
The album doesn't have an official release date, but if you're going to catch Gwar on the upcoming Vans Warped Tour, then you'll be the first in line to pre-order the album. The band will give you a laminate upon purchase that you can cash in upon release date for a copy of the CD, and also seems to serve as a teaser for The Blood Of Gods artwork.
