Looks like that rumor about new Foo Fighters music coming might actually be true, just later than we thought. Foo Fighters announced six new tour dates yesterday, and now they're back with a mysterious teaser that reads "are you thinking what I'm thinking?" The teaser is backed by some potentially new music with a prominent backbeat, which of course begs the question of who will be drumming for the band.
Foo Fighters announced in late 2022 they had every intention of carrying on in the wake of Taylor Hawkins' death. Though when you lose your drummer (and friend for years) under such tragic circumstances, I'd imagine it's hard to just come out and say "hey, we've got this new guy playing live for us now!"
Check the teaser out below.
