Denver crust punks Call of the Void, who recently recruited second guitarist Gabe Morales, will be entering the studio later this month to record their sophomore album, and we're pretty fuckin' excited about that.
The sophomore full-length, entitled Ageless, will recorded at The Boar's Nest in Utah with Andy Patterson, who has Gaza and Subrosa under his credits. Brad Boatright at Audioseige plans to master the album, while Cult Leader vocalist Anthony Lucero handles the artwork.
Comments the band, "We are beyond stoked to hit the studio again with Andy Patterson and start the second chapter of Call of the Void. The addition of Gabe Morales has added a new ferocity to the COTV sound. Don't expect Dragged Down A Dead End Path Part II."
The band recently announced two hometown shows in Denver, as well as an appearance at Crucial Fest in Salt Lake City with Red Fang and Cult Leader, among others. Additional live dates are said to be announced in the coming weeks.
