Behold The Arctopus. the band consist of guitarist and bassist Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts, etc.), guitarist Mike Lerner (Direwolf), and drummer Jason Bauers, seems to take its time releasing albums. Its debut LP Skullgrid came out in 2007, Horrorscension was released in 2012, and then the band's third effort Cognitive Emancipation dropped in 2016. Though it seems like maybe we won't have to wait until 2020 or so for another album!
The band posted the following cryptic message to its Facebook, which seems to indicate there's another album coming.
The air chills… the unheard sounds coagulate… the northeast remembers… MMXVIII… a time when sanity may face its greatest defeat…
Seriously, if you're not excited about this, then you clearly haven't listened to Behold The Arctopus.
