ATTILA's CHRIS FRONZAK On New Material: "No More Sucking F*cks And Being Edgy Just To Piss People Off"

They're still gonna rage, though.

ATTILA's New Single "Metalcore Mansion" Is Very Nü-Metal

Attila has earned themselves a reputation for being a little edgy over the years with songs like "Middle Fingers Up" and t-shirts saying "Suck My Fuck" in huge block letters. Whether you're into it or not is entirely subjective, but clearly it worked given Attila's popularity.

As Attila works on the follow up to their 2021 album Closure, frontman Chris Fronzak reveals he's leaving the purposefully edgy stuff behind. Or as he puts it, the new record is going to feature "real ass raw lyrics."

"Pushing myself to another level with this new Attila music," said Fronzak. "This will be the most relatable Attila album by far. No more sucking fucks and being edgy just to piss people off. Just real ass raw lyrics." He later clarified to a fan "Nah we still got crazy jacked up shit, it's just more authentic." So it'll still be all the bounce riffs you want, just less edgy.

In the meantime, Attila has an extensive European tour lined up for later this month with Our Hollow Our Home, Traitors, Ghost Iris, and Stain The Canvas.
