TOOL Taking "Day-To-Day Approach" On Cancellations For Current Spring Tour

We are actively keeping tabs on all the bands canceling or postponing their shows in light of the coronavirus outbreak. One band not ready to throw in the towel on touring is ToolSo far, two shows have been confirmed to be canceled, but Tool will be taking things day-to-day.

So far, tonight's (March 12) show in Eugene, Oregon is postponed. Monday, March 16's performance at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT is also postponed. However, the band's show this Sunday, March 14 at the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater is still going on as scheduled. Update: The band have canceled the Idaho date on 3/13 citing requests from local officials to avoid large gatherings.

The band wrote in a new statement posted moments ago "We are continuing to monitor the evolving situation with coronavirus and are in continual conversation with local promoters and venues. The health of our fans, bandmates, crew members and all of those that work in and around the venues is what we are focused on."

The band added they are taking a "day-to-day" approach for the remainder of their spring tour dates.

Earlier today, a report surfaced that Live Nation planned to "pause" most concerts for the next few weeks, and it is not yet clear if any Tool dates would be affected.
