Rammstein got a ton of people in North America excited when they announced they would be returning for their first proper tour in many years. We got even more excited when the band revealed they would be playing open air stadiums, meaning the fire and the pyro would be bigger that the U.S. has seen in quite a while. But how much is it going to cost you? Tickets went on sale this morning, so let's take a look.
We are just focusing on the North American dates here. The tour kicks off on August 20th in Montreal and they play 10 shows total, wrapping up in Mexico on September 27th. To save you some trouble, your best bet is to check out Stubhub for deals, at face value or below.
All of the venues have something called a "Feuerzone" or a fire zone, which I assume is where all the fun is. It looks to be sold out across the board at all venues. As for the pricing, the foriegn countries and the smaller cities have it cheapest.
General admission in Montreal is $120 Canadian, which is about $91 US. This is a big open air space and not a football stadium so there is no seating.
Once we get to Philly, ticket prices get a bit cheaper, since there is stadium seating. Nosebleeds cost about $54.50 before fees and general admission floor seating is $94.50. In Landover, MD, at the FedExField, ticket prices are the same and the fire zone is already sold out. Chicago's Soldier Field and the Alamodome in San Antoio have similar pricing.
In Minneapolis, GA tickets are $96, and nosebleeds are $56.
Both MetLife Stadium in NY/NJ and Gillette Stadium, in Foxborough, MA have tickets priced at $59.50 for GA and $99.50 for GA standing room.
LA's Memorial Stadium is virtually all sold out with tickets starting at $74.50 and climbing to $94.50 for GA. GA is sold out, only nosebleeds are left.
Tickets in Mexico look to have gone fast as well with prices going for $1,164.00 Mexican ($61 USD) – $2,720.00 ($144 USD)
It seems, yet again, your best bet for the best deals is the resale market on Stubhub. Prices are either at market value or in some cases slightly below. Dates and ticket links below.
