There Are Now Two Versions Of SALIVA

Josey Scott's Saliva is now a thing.

JOSEY SCOTT'S SALIVA

As is the custom with older bands, there are now two versions of Saliva. Original vocalist Josey Scott has announced he'll be touring this summer as Josey Scott's Saliva, while the regular Saliva is putting the finishing touches on their new album after the death of guitarist Wayne Swinney.

Blabbermouth points out that the moderator for Josey Scott's Saliva's Facebook page responded to a comment asking about the tour, saying that of course there can be two versions of the band.

"Much like many other bands who have had multiple versions of a band/brand (ie Great White, LA Guns, Beach Boys, Black Flag, Yes, The Byrds, Ratt, etc) this is Joesy Scott's Saliva, who performs the songs the he wrote with his new band," wrote the moderator. "This project has been underway for well over a year now and is finally set to tour. The other Saliva is alive and well. They still continue to tour and play many of Josey's hits as well as their more recent releases with [current Saliva singer] Bobby [Amaru] as the frontman."

Prior to this, it looks like Josey Scott was touring as Josey Scott, The Original Voice Of Saliva. The new admat for his upcoming tour uses the new name and prominently features the Saliva logo. You can catch Josey Scott's Saliva at one of the dates below. Which is a pretty gross sentence if you don't know what Josey Scott's Saliva is. Get your tickets here.
