RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Announced For Two New Summer Festivals

Posted by on January 28, 2020 at 1:54 pm

Ever since the initial wave of Rage Against the Machine reunion show announcements, I've started to get a little worried. Despite the fact that the rumor was the band was going to do "plenty" more touring, no other shows had been announced, and there was no ticketing info for the shows that were announced. I've been put slightly at ease at the revelations today that Rage has been confirmed for two more festivals.

They will headline the second day of the three day Boston Calling festival on May 23rd. The rock-centric fest features Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers as headliners on the other nights with other acts confirmed including Dinosaur Jr., Andrew W.K., Run the Jewels, RJD2 and more.

Rage has also been announced as one of the headliners of the Firefly Festival along with Blink-182 and Billie Eilish. Other rock-friendly acts include David Lee Roth, Lil Dicky, Cage the Elephant, Run the Jewels, and Cold War Kids.

Here is Rage's routing as it stands right now:

March 26 El Paso, TX – TBA
March 28 Las Cruces, NM – TBA
March 30 Phoenix, AZ – TBA
April 10 Indio, CA – Coachella
April 17 Indio, CA – Coachella
May 23 Boston, MA – Boston Calling
June 18-21 (TBD) Dover, DE – Firefly Festival

Keep checking this space for ticket deals for these shows.

So, as it stands, Boston is the closest Rage show to me right now. Get closer, please! I'd really like to see you guys once.
