> Apparently, Austria hasn't heard of DEICIDE. Drummer Steve Asheim went to a bank this morning to deposit the merch money from the previous night's show. Perplexed by Steve's unusual attire, and the large amount of money being deposited, the bank clear clearly had to call the cops, and Steve was detained and had to explain himself before finally being let go. Lesson to be learned? Leather jackets aren't made for bank visits in Austria.
> Alert your parents! The reunion everybody wanted to see, about 10 years ago, is about to happen as it looks like there are discussions of DAVID LEE ROTH going on tour with VAN HALEN this summer. All this talk started once it was announced that Van Halen is being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Can you wait for the drama of Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth in the same room? Who will need to use the defibrillator first! RollingStone.com put up an interview with Eddie Van Halen, if you're interested.
> As a follow-up to our story yesterday about the ANTHRAX reunion being over, former singer JOEY BELLADONNA was just interviewed by RockMyMonkey, and he said that it basically wasn't his decision to not record on the new album, and that he would love for things to move forward. When asked if he would want to do a new record, here is how Joey responded:
Oh, absolutely. I would have loved to do one, yeah. I mean, but again, and all due respect, there’s a lot of circumstances that take place to do that kind of stuff. There’s a lot of things involved. Just think about it, you know. You have to have material, you have to have a reason. You have to have everything. You have to have a place to do it, the circumstance. All the basics have to be there. Again, it’s not for me to decide any of that stuff. So I don’t decide it. It’s not my band. And you have to know that I was not there. I wasn’t in that band. They asked me to come back and do a reunion. So that’s about all I know. It’s hard for me to really answer anything specific here.
