Looks like we'll not only be getting a new Obituary record in 2014, but also a (albeit small) 2013 tour! Fun fact; you're going to be disappointed if you're not in the northeast of America.
Before we get into tour stuff, let's look at the fact that Obituary absolutely demolished their goal of $10,000 for their next record's crowd funding at an astonishing $46,594 with a week still left! So head on over there and donate if you want some sweet perks. Drummer Donald Tardy had to say about the record and small touring cycle:
“We have been busting our asses in the studio, having a blast and writing new material. Twelve songs are done and ready to be recorded but we want a monster album for our fans so we are working on a few more to make this record huge! We will continue writing until October when we will take a break from the studio and new music and go destroy theTrois-Rivieres Metalfestwith Hatebreed and crush the US.”
