The face Meshuggah frontman Jens Kidman is making in the above photo is essentially my reaction when I heard Meshuggah have confirmed a North American tour for this fall, and they're bringing High Fire with them .
It makes sense, after all, the band promised a new album this fall, and already announced a European tour with High on Fire supporting on that as well. The tour will hit the US, Canada and Mexico, although without High on Fire south of the U.S. border. The tour kicks off October 10th in Florida, heads up and down the coasts and and wraps up about a month later in Maryland. Here are the dates for the North American leg:
