Considering the wait time and incredible quality of their releases, Karnivool dropping a new album is generally a massive deal. Last we heard from the band was their 2013 record Asymmetry, and while it's not clear what the plan is right now, we do know they're working on a new one.
Karnivool recently announced an Australian tour for this May and June, and ended their email with the following message.
We're many, many months into crafting our new music.
We cannot tell you more at the moment but, well, we hope you think the wait is justified when you do get to hear it.
Hopefully we'll see you somewhere on The Praxis Tour.
