This fall, mighty power metal warriors from South America and the frozen wastes of Canada are teaming up to bring the North America one of the best power metal tours of the year. Brazil's Hibria and Vancouver, British Columbia's Unleash the Archers are embarking on an extensive continent adventure that will take them from sea to shinning sea. Guardians of true metal take heed, the excursion embarks on September 8th in Philadelphia and concludes with a Halloween show in Unleash the Archers' home turf of Vancouver.
Both bands will be touring on new material; Unleash the Archers dropped Time Stands Still (which Metal Injection reviewed here) a few weeks ago and Hibria's self-titled fifth album is scheduled for release on August 7th. Both bands' new material is solid and it will be glorious to see it performed live. You better believe I'll be banging my head in the front row when the bands roll through NYC.
