Even though there is no new season of Metalocalypse coming to Adult Swim, creator Brendon Small has said he's not done yet with the story.
Now, Dethklok fans havesoemthing to be excited about. Brendon is teaming up with Anthrax's Scott Ianand The Paul Green Rock Academy for a one-time-only performance of the 'klok Opera, Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem this July.
Both Small and Ian will be doing workshops with students at the academy in the week leading up to the performance. They will be talking about what goes into creating a metal band, from coming up with the title, writing songs, arrangements, performance, etc. Afterwards, everybody will go on stage to perform some Dethklok tunes as well as some Anthrax songs and some studen performances of original material.
