While we all just wish Despised Icon would get back together and write some new music – they were one of the few standout bands from a time when a lot of mediocore bands were coming out, and they weren't around for that long – it looks like that still isn't going to happen, at least not in any serious capacity. While they aren't planning on churning out any new songs, they are going to be touring to celebrate the ten year anniversary of the record entitled The Healing Process. The dates are in Canada and Europe, and are as follows, as reported by Heavy Blog is Heavy:
September 5th – Leeds, England- Leeds University Union, Ghostfest
September 6th – Bristol, England- Motion, Ghostfest
September 10th – 12th – Quebec City, Canada- Festival Envol et Macadam
If you are lucky enough to live in one of these locals, this is a not-to-miss event. For those who don't, we can still hope that the group will announce more dates in the future, if not the full-fledged reunion we are all hoping for.
