Seeing the Death To All tribute show last year at the New York City stop was one of the best concerts of the year, if not the last decade (check out some sweet photos here). The show ultimately only made it to a few destinations. Unfortunately, the final two dates of the tour ended up being cancelled and the resulting online drama made it seem like the tour had runs it's course.
But, according to a posting this morning, Death To All is forged to make a comeback.
The Facebook page of the Death To All tour featured an updated version of the tour flyer this weekend, hyping up Death To All 2013. This morning, the picture became clearer when Neurotic Deathfest officially announced that Death To All will be headlining Day 1 of their event on Friday, May 3rd. Other acts confirmed for the day are Pig Destroyer and Devourment, Incantation and Vader. So you know they are being serious with their lineup here. This is being billed as Death To All's only European performance.
The only confirmed name for the performance is drumming demigod Gene Hoglan.
During the US run, previously members including Cynic's Paul Masvidal & Sean Reinert (Human), Steve DiGiorgio (Human/Individual Thought Patterns) Scott Clendenin (The Sound of Perseverance), Shannon Hamm (The Sound of Perseverance) and Bobby Koelble were a part of the performance. Vocal duties were handled by Charles Elliot of Abysmal Dawn and Matt Harvey of Exhumed.
Seeing as though they are billing this on the official page as a "tour," you have to think more announcements are coming soon.
