Cobalt released its first new album in seven years and Mantar released its second overall record this year, both of which are fucking fantastic and heavy. Now, in an unlikely pairing that surprises as much as it'll please, the duo will be touring North America this September!
While the tour should be great, it'll be interesting to see who each band recruits to fill out its lineup. Both Cobalt and Mantar are each a duo in the studio, and while backing tracks are certainly a thing, I think it might be super awkward to just have a drummer and a dude playing guitar up on stage. So I'm sure we'll be cover this again! Until then…
