Well this is certainly sad news. While traveling in Europe last month, I learned about this awesome band called The Blue Screen of Death. Think fun syth-rock in the vein of Horse The Band with a twist, and entirely made up of Germans. Aside from their rad infectious tunes, they also have some of the best merch I've ever seen. Turning the average vinyl packaging into a retro 5.5 floppy disc is the kind of clever this band displays. As if you couldn't already tell by the name of the band!
So I'm bummed to learn this morning that the band is calling it quits, and will wrap it up with a farewell tour through Germany. If you're in the country, consider yourself lucky. The rest of us will always have their bandcamp page to rock out to. You can also check out the band on their facebook page.
